So, our group decided at the 1st meeting to make and donate 5 quilts to Vista Care, a local Albuquerque hospice organization, which has a floor at Lovelace Hospital. We'll be meeting Saturday, Feb. 12 at 9a.m. at Hip Stitch to make blocks. To be made are:
the Wonky Star block, w/a white background and monochromatic star. 12 1/2"
the String Block - any fabrics/patterns. 12 1/2"
We'll also be making a quilt with just a 12 1/2" block of one fabric - any batik-like fabric from your stash.
Our next MQG meeting will be Thursday, Feb. 17, 6-8 at Hip Stitch.

Kick Off
The Albuquerque Modern Quilt Guild will be meeting for the 1st time tomorrow evening - Thursday, January 27, from 6-8, at Hip Stitch.
