October meeting

We had a fun time last week at the October meeting - the highlight being opening our potholders from the Atlanta Modern Quilt Guild - a swap we did with them.
Wait.....this was also the highlight:
Julie & Robyn's final - BEAUTIFUL - Rapunzel dresses, made for their little girls for Halloween.  They spent countless hrs. in the lounge, working with Sharon Hatcher, who essentially did an ongoing "How NOT to Read a Pattern" class with them, teaching them tricks, and shortcuts, and tips as they went.  They should be so proud of these dresses! (and never let their girls eat or drink anything while wearing them, lest they should spill something!!)

We're all getting ready for the Hipster's Craft Fair next weekend - Saturday, Nov. 12.  Should be a lot of fun!
